Gulfood, held at the Dubai World Trade Centre, is the world’s largest annual food and beverage show, with 5,000 exhibitors from 120 countries covering 120,000 m2 of space and attracting over 90,000 visitors. As Gulfood’s logistics service provider, Al Naboodah Logistics’ challenge was to ensure the smooth running of the event.

A potential client was managing its road freight movements by outsourcing to various independent owner drivers, which was proving costly and inefficient. Al Naboodah Logistics was asked to develop a business model to streamline the company’s UAE-wide road movements that optimised operating costs and provided opportunities for the client to develop and grow its business further afield.
